Did you know that Ancient China was ruled by not one, but two types of government? China was ruled by dynasties. Rule passed from family member to family member (males only) is a dynasty. The type of government depended on what the ruler of the dynasty believed. The Qin Dynasty (ch-in), ruled with a tyranny. There were parts of Ancient China that did not accept being ruled by the type of government chosen by the ruler. These rebels, mainly in the southern part of China accepted no rule. This type of government is known as an anarchy. There were positives and negatives to living in an anarchy. The positive of living in an anarchy was being free to do what they wanted. Similarly, the negative was that there was no government leading them to their goal.
